Hello Hello !
My name is Stefana. I am 22 years old and I come from the most beautiful part of Romania, Bucovina ! I studied psychology in Cluj-Napoca and next year I would like to follow a Master.

I am a volunteer for 7 years and I like a lot to travel, so when I heard about EVS I didn`t hesitate, I decided to make a change in my life ! I chose Belgium because I had the occasion to visit the country before and to interact with Belgians. Many would ask me why I didn`t choose an unknown location. The answer is simple: I wanted to know more about it (the language, culture, life itself).

For me Belgium is the perfect place where I can gain volunteering experience and from where I can bring home a lot of answers to my questions. I am sure that at the end of this project I will have a different life perspective, a large stock of knowledge and nice memories.

My name is Kinga. I am 22 years old and I`m from Satu Mare. I studied psychology, at Babes Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca.

I volunteer for 3 years and I am glad that I have the opportunity to learn from the experience of this kind of work. I like to travel and to discover new things about other cultures. This is the reason I chose to do an EVS. For me it was a challenge to volunteer somewhere else, other than Romania, to learn from other organizations and it was also a chance to develop both personally and professionally.

Why Belgium? Because it`s a country different from Romania in many ways, from where I can acquire more knowledge and where everyone does or has done at least once volunteering. The final result of this project will certainly be above my expectations: many memories, friendships, experience and a greater resistance to cold! Brr!!

Lise Colomb

I am Lise. I am 23 years old and I come from France. I grow up in a country side, and I went to Lyon for my studies (A beautiful city to visit…!)

I like spending time with my friends, go out and drink some beers with them and I like meeting new people to. I am quite dynamic and I enjoy having fun and do some little crazy things!

I wanted to have an EVS experience because I wanted to have an experience abroad; I enjoy feeling useful and learn by exchanging with others. I choose Romania, because I wanted to discover a country of East Europe, to discover and learn about a different culture of mine.

I hope I will find all this things, and I will enjoy this year here…

That’s All Folks…well most!

Hello everybody!
I’m Andre, a brand new EVS volunteer in Europanet with my friends Lise and Stefano.

I actually wanted to do volunteering abroad for a long time. So, to me, the EVS program was the best opportunity to fulfil this ambition. And now, here I am in the wonderful city Iaşi! I’m a former student in foreign languages and linguistics, and after my studies my wish was to be involved in a long term project in non-formal education.

Aged of 25, I have left my home region in France where there were not so many job opportunities and I don’t regret my decision. My fellow volunteers I have a lot of activities planned and I’m sure that this experience with the Romanian people will be rewarding for all volunteers, kids, youngsters and students.

See you guys at Europanet activities and events!

Cheers from Romania!!!
